Superfast 3.0
Well, the Christmastime festival of welding and cutting and general motorcycle manufacturing has come to a close, and I'm much closer to the third iteration of the land speed bike. The third and FINAL!!! I'm still waiting on a triple tree but I've got the fuel tank and the water tank and the start of a seat...
Hopefully NewYearstime festivities will be productive with the S600.

Pseudo-Progress!
Land speed bike disassembled-ish!
Engine "installed" in car!
Payphone in my living room (doesn't work)!
And other stuff! Modifications are underway to use actual sportbike forks for the land speed bike. Intended direction is this:
I've bought some Honda CBR forks and lathed them down very carefully, and fabbed up some clamps to hold the wheel on snugly. They look like little steel coffee mugs.
This Christmas break will be a girlfriend-less, work-less, school-less festival of machining and welding and bolting fun.
